Category:Obsolete units of measure
This category identifies obsolete units of measure.
But that very statement begs the question of who decides what obsolete is to mean.
- To the unexperienced eye of the young champion of SI, or the untraveled and the naif, all Customary measurement systems may seem useless and obscure, today, for a time. For they have no use in the classroom or chemistry laboratory they've been trained to say.
But when a day O'awakening comes, at home or when they travel to a far land and have to wash the floor or use a cookbook, the obsolete is suddenly the only and necessary. So choose wisely your category realative to obsoletness or those more appropo to customary commonality. And see also:[CAT:Customary units of measure] before you decide which.
