Alon Bodner
Alon Bodner, also known as Alan Izhar Bodner (born 7 January 1956) is the founder and CEO of Like-A-Fish Technologies, a company that develops revolutionary systems to provide scuba divers, submarines and underwater habitats breathable air by extracting dissolved air from water.
Biography
Alon Bodner was born in New York City, New York, USA, on January 7 1956, to Sol R. Bodner, a Professor in the field of Applied Mechanics, and Nechama Vardi Bodner. He moved with his family to Israel in 1964. Married to Ilana Barnes in 1984, he has two children: Adi (born November 14 1989) and Aviv (born January 18 1993).
He has a B.S. degree (1978) and M.S. degree (1986) from the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology). His professional career includes five years with the Israeli Navy (1978 to 1983), employment at ACTA, a Risk Analysis company in California (1988 to 1996) and several years developing and programming robots at a hi-tech company. His hobbies include scuba diving and swimming and skiing.
